Windows & Doors
Upgrade your windows and doors for better insulation, lower energy bills, supported by SEAI grants.

Choosing the right glazing is a big decision, so it’s worth considering the difference.
Double Glazed Windows have two panes of glass separated by an insulating gap, typically filled with air or gas. This design improves energy efficiency by reducing heat loss and helps with sound insulation, making it a cost-effective choice for many homeowners.
Triple Glazed Windows include an additional pane, offering three layers of glass with two insulating gaps. This extra layer provides even better thermal and sound insulation, which can be ideal for colder climates or areas with high noise levels. However, they are more expensive than double glazed windows. When choosing between the two, consider your budget, climate, and specific energy-saving goals.
If you’re thinking about a retrofit, it’s a great time to explore your options and check if you are eligible for SEAI grants for windows and doors.
