Stephen O’Connor

Stephen O’Connor is Managing Director at Electric Ireland Superhomes. Stephen has 25 years experience in the Energy & Telecom industries both in the public and private sector, working across Corporate Finance and Public Policy.   A former Director of Corporate Finance at KPMG, Stephen spent two terms at the Department of Environment, Climate & Communications working as Special Adviser to the Secretary General and also as Energy Policy Adviser to The Minister. Most recently, Stephen was Director of Corporate Affairs at SIRO (an ESB-Vodafone joint venture) from 2015 until 2020. He holds a primary degree in Commerce and a Masters in Accounting, both from UCD and is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.

Declan Daly

Declan Daly is Head of Engineering at Electric Ireland Superhomes. He has an Honours Degree in Sustainable Energy Technology B.Eng and a Diploma in Construction Management. He manages the retrofit engineering team who carry out energy site audits, procurement of energy projects, designing and sizing M&E. His role also includes contract negotiation, and directing work according to the scheduling methodology for the retrofit program.

Janet Doyle

Janet Doyle is Head of Finance at Electric Ireland Superhomes. She has over 18 years management experience in the private and non-profit sector. Janet has financially managed regional, national and international projects. She holds a primary degree in Business, is a Certified Public Accountant, along with holding qualifications in business coaching, operations management, governance in the charitable sector, and responsible and sustainable finance. Janet has demonstrated a successful history working in the non-profit sector, construction and engineering sectors with a keen interest in social enterprises. Janet is involved in funding applications and business planning, finance, and funding stakeholder engagement.

 

Mike O’Rourke

Mike O’Rourke is Head of Contracting & Safety at Electric Ireland Superhomes. He has over 28 years of varied experience in building services engineering. The last 15 years of this have been in the renewable energy sector in Ireland with specific experience in design and project management of biomass and solar energy systems in both residential and commercial projects.

David Flannery

David Flannery is Head Retrofit Advisor at Electric Ireland Superhomes. A graduate of the University of Limerick, David has 15 years’ experience in home energy retrofitting, low-energy construction and sustainable housing development. David is the main point of contact for Electric Ireland Superhomes applicants and coordinates the retrofit process until the works commence. His role includes initial home assessment, contractor engagement, grant application coordination and providing step-by-step support for successful applicants.

Robyn O’Mara

Robyn O’Mara is Chief Marketing Officer at Electric Ireland Superhomes. With over 20 years’ experience in marketing, Robyn began her marketing career in Eircom (now eir) as a sales representative (Clare and Limerick region). Following this Robyn moved into the banking industry and has worked for First Active, Ulster Bank and then KBC Bank. Robyn then moved back eir during their rebrand from Eircom to eir. From there she joined ESB Group and Electric Ireland in 2016 and has managed a number of strategic communications projects and went on to set up one of Ireland’s first Marketing Effectiveness functions within ESB Groups marketing team, driving growth through media and creative strategies.

Karen Davis

Karen Davis is Chief People Officer at Electric Ireland Superhomes. She has over 15 years experience across a number of HR functions. Karen started her career in the Hilton Hotel group. Before moving to ESB in 2008 where she worked in the HR team within the ESB International area of the business before. She then moved to the Reward team in 2015, during a time of great change for ESB. A year later Karen progressed to the Talent Acquisition team where she managed the ESB recruitment team overseeing all the internal and external recruitment activities for the business both nationally and internationally during a time of huge growth for ESB, particularly in the UK market. Karen is a graduate of The National College of Ireland.

Paul Hartigan

Paul Hartigan is the Chief Information Officer at Electric Ireland Superhomes. In this position Paul has responsibility for delivering innovative and secure solutions to meet the business needs. He has over 20 years of technical and information technology management experience, covering ERP systems, infrastructure, software development, and compliance. Paul holds a BSc in Computing & Business and a MSc in Project & Programme Management.
